We provide the following products and services - low turbulence pouring systems which minimise oxidization, the star wheel, product ejection, aluminium alloys, molten metal filtration, flow control, solidification and conveyor chain strands. Many metals are involved including aluminum, Al, brass, bronze, copper, Cu, zink, zinc, Zn, lead, Pb and ferro aluminium. Upgrading and improving ingot casting machines of other manufacturers. Our standard range of pouring systems can be configured to suit existing furnace installations, even with low tapping heights at the design stage. We produce brand new designs for special purpose machines to suit individual requirements. Past examples include lead billet casters, and lead conveyors used in munitions demilitarisation systems. Moulds - Cast in high grade SG Iron which is melted electrically with on site analytic facilities to ensure and maintain consistent quality. We use the latest foundry techniques and high quality board mounted pattern equipment. We have a small range of standard moulds for ingot and deoxidant shapes, but the majority of our machines are built with customer-specific moulds. We can make a mould to match customers’ existing product lines, or we can design new moulds to produce stackable or interlocking ingots within specified weight or size limits. Pouring - Ingotech manufacture various pouring mechanisms, and select the most appropriate system. Aluminium ingot, Aluminium deoxidant shapes, Zinc and lead ingot and Copper and brass ingot. Construction - Standard OEM components are used where possible. Cooling can be achieved with either spray nozzles or water dip tank, depending on requirements. The knockout consists of mechanically actuated hammers striking each mould to loosen the product as it passes around the head-shaft. The hammers are aluminium bronze rollers to prevent damage to moulds. Stacking - Ingotech manufacture ingot stacking equipment for ingots, plates, waffles etc, incorporating automatic banding and weighing systems. Water cooling and recycling systems can be incorporated if required. Furnace Tapping Equipment - Ingotech manufacture and supply a range of furnace tapping spouts and control needles to suit various furnace wall thicknesses. Spectrographic (mushroom) sample moulds are made. When installed with hydraulic tilting furnaces, automatic control of the furnace can be achieved. Flow control valve needles and seats for the filter boxes are normally available from stock. Refurbishment - upgrading and improving ingot casting machines of other manufacture. Our star-wheel and tray pouring systems can be easily adapted to fit any straight-line casting conveyor.
